Here are images that range from sweeping vistas to enclosed spaces, and from lush rainforests to stark rock shapes. I look for abstract qualities in landscape, as well as dramatic contrasts. A prevailing theme in my work is our perception of time, and there is no better way to contemplate time than to watch a clump of moss in a damp forest, or to stand back from the base of a tree and think of its life underground.
